Having grown over the past 17 years to become Charlotte's premier social men's rugby club, the Charlotte Barbarians play rugby at the competitive (DIII) and social (DIV) levels while hosting a variety of team functions, events and socials throughout the year.

We focus on exceptional rugby with an emphasis on its traditional social elements: camaraderie, diversity, community, & fun. Our Mission
At the Charlotte Barbarians Rugby Football Club (CBRFC), our mission is to promote the sport of rugby and strengthen our community through camaraderie, diversity, and fun. We strive to provide a positive and inclusive environment for all players and fans of the game. All ruggers in the Charlotte area are welcome, regardless of skill level.

The club plays matches at a semi-competitive level, competing for the CGRU D-III Men's championship; but we also host lots social matches and mash-ups.
Just as importantly, the club maintains a full calendar of social events taking place off the field. All ruggers, players or supports are always welcome with the Charlotte Barbarians!
